I don't understand this comment. IVDs are just moving around vacation days you already have - we can not fly on an IVD day so I don't think we are monetizing them. I have used all allowable IVD days every summer since they were instituted - I think IVDs are Da Bomb! Been turning two weeks of mostly August vacations into over 30 days off straight in July and August since around 2016 with IVDs and APDs. Yeah I miss prime GS season but life is too short.

Drop 6 IVD days starting on the last day of a 4 day. Get paid for 6 IVD days and then pick up a 4 day that ends 1 day before the 6 IVD days start. In essence “selling” 5 vacation days.
This is a pay exercise not a time off exercise.
