Again in multi crew ops you are never the sole manipulator. Both crew manipulate controls for various purposes as part of the assigned duties to both pilot flying and pilot monitoring.
dude, I linked the FAA chief counsels decision that even as FO he can log PIC. They know it’s a two pilot plane. They’re just saying the obvious that commanding gear down, or commanding a heading bug movement is still a command decision as sole manipulator. They know it’s a two pilot crew aircraft. They would have said he could not log it if your theory were correct. They didn’t, they specifically said an airline FO could log.
