MCO is very senior for FOs at SWA and stupid senior for captains. Keep that in mind. Right now our upgrade is running 7 years but for MCO or ATL it’s much longer.
Also, we have a two hour call out for reserve so it’s not like you can sit at home on it and you will be on reserve for a while in those two senior domiciles.
The obvious advantage to SWA is much more job security. That said, if I lived in the FL Panhandle I’d be knocking on Delta’s door.
Why, so I can commute to ATL forever. No thanks. We want to move to central FL for family reasons. So reserve will be doable once we move. I recognize that the first year until we do will suck.
