No, he doesn't get it. The UALALPA MEC/NC negotiated the Tumi TA, voted on it, passed it, and told United pilots to ratify it. The company was happy to give the pilots that POS. Laying the blame for the delay in getting an ILC only with the company is absurd. Maybe if the pilots wore orange belts, ties, shoelaces and head bands that would do the trick.

Not sure where you’re getting any of this from the post I quoted, which was about the fact that strong company financials don’t necessarily guarantee us a commensurate benefit. Last I checked, we recalled most of the union reps involved in TUMI 1 so I don’t think anyone is suggesting they didn’t play a big role in that or bear some responsibility for where we are today.
