Been watching all of this from the sidelines and it looks like a total ATC FUBAR that disproportionately effects EWR. They get a couple of storms rolling around the area suddenly the arrival and departure rates are slashed because controllers can’t control anymore. They lose one or two SID/STAR corridors and suddenly they can’t control manually. Ever been in and out of ORD during wx like this? Zero change. There has to be a tornado on top of the field for them to start panicking. There’s one SID and the controllers take it from there. Best in the business, and no I don’t live or work in ORD just calling it like I see it.
