I know 2 people that tried this at airlines. Both were fired. I know for sure that 1 tried to sue, but it didn't go anywhere. You can't choose to work in a profession that requires you to work on any given day and then just choose to not work on some of those days.

This is absolute abuse of religion and is harmful to the faithful.
