FWIW with in base layovers we can do hotel buybacks at NK. Never done it myself so I don't remember exactly but it's like 50 bucks in your pocket or something if you don't use the hotel. Not saying the other things being talked about aren't important just saying if y'all didn't know.

So 8 minutes of pay for canceling your hotel while giving up hours of credit you otherwise would have been entitled to. With the added bonus of not being covered by the fatigue system because you decided to go home for 12 hours instead of the company-provided hotel.
$50 might be a lot for a Spirit pilot but not on our side of the fence.
