So 8 minutes of pay for canceling your hotel while giving up hours of credit you otherwise would have been entitled to. With the added bonus of not being covered by the fatigue system because you decided to go home for 12 hours instead of the company-provided hotel.
The thing is, nobody really uses it at NK from what I understand. In my domicile, pretty much everyone lives in base (have flown with only commuter over the last year). Also as previously mentioned, in base layovers aren't a thing here so I doubt there is any significant use of the program going on.
