I think this will hurt AA more. The plan was to have JB feed the AA 321XLR Europe flying to stick it to Delta with more efficient aircraft. AA can’t feed it due to lack of flying slots. Kiss Doha 777 flying goodbye. The original plan was to use PHL to swamp point to point and off-season Europe flying. Come to find out in court records the plan changed to JFK because of the JB NEA deal. No one knows what the new plan will be.
