About three weeks after the union said we’re getting nowhere all of the sudden the company says ok and we have a TA. Why was that? They KNOW we have a scope problem and they want it signed now. They were afraid more of us would see what a huge problem this is and more NO votes would be coming if they delayed any further. Plus AA and UAL contracts will be coming soon which will make us look even worse so…

And for the scope discussion ask yourself who put the language in there. It’s like a buddy of mine said…” when a guy has a condom in his wallet it’s there for a reason “. I agreed and said great parallel. It’s just like the company adding the language to the scope section…someone’s gonna get ****ed.
~ 500 probationary pilots aren't able to vote as well. That may be some of the urgency the company and the union are feeling to push this TA through now before those likely No votes are eligible.
