That is really dirty, and shady to try to fail someone, because you have too many pilots. They could simply lay you off. I would think the company wouldn't owe for unemployment, if a pilot was only there for a few months. A pilot's record is one of the most valuable things to them.
It happened at this very company too. The Memphis Mafia were literally profiting off failing people. They legit ruined alot of peoples careers for their own gain.
