I go to pickets and support like a good member, but these pickets are for us, not management. The mobile billboards are for us. The WSJ ads are for us. They make us feel good and rally the troops. AJ and Bozo couldn’t care less.
They will continue to not care until angry owners start making phone calls to ask why they can’t do their semi-annual U-Haul in an XLS trip to their summer place in JPX or their big ski trip to EGE on President’s Day. You know, the real important things.
absolutely truth!
No one cares about spoiled rich pilots making more than 80% of the citizen of this country, who are getting fed at work and have access to excellent, zero cost zero deductible health insurance, protesting to get richer.
Pickets are just an old boys club thing, it's just for us to rally the troops. Gets zero recognition from the very successful company we work for and from our customers. This parading won't help. We need negotiators who can communicate with the EMT, not snowflakes who get offended and make a 5 paragraphs MB thread every time AJ doesn't acknowledge them or AB doesn't show up at a meeting. And we need that mass exodus of pilots we've been expecting for the past 10 years, a breakdown of operation, stranded customers, increased used of lower quality contracts making owners upset, to motivate the company to offer a decent compensation increase now, and not in 2024.
