In any event, current hiring is >>5x retirements so even if they stopped for two years it might not make much difference
I’d bet that ICAO follows if we change. The next 2 years of retirements here is about 1000 pilots. We’ll still hire for growth, but that will be 500 less pilots hired per year during that time.
