Why is your training dept passing them? Or, perhaps, you want to create a false narrative? And why might that be? If I was going to use the exact same ruler to fail someone in the sim, a person in year 1-2 of employment would fail at a higher rate than someone 63-65 yrs old. I'll see you in the sim.
I hit a nerve didn’t I. The training standards are so watered down, anyone can pass recurrent at a major. The guys I’m talking with struggle in the real, dynamic world. Especially after a redeye or a long duty day.

The old guys struggle keeping up with simple tasks such as a last minute runway change. Easy to accomplish in the sim world.
