That's where the "forced" could come from. With it carrying a deep freeze, check rides every 6 months, not being able to touch WB flying fr a long time, being stuck at the bottom of the category for years, these positions might not be as desirable as you'd think for a new hire. Could drop to the bottom. A new hire could pick NBFO in new hire class and still get to the left seat a year or so later without the things that go along with getting left seat bid on day one.
well they still have to be an fo for a year. Assuming that there will still be unfilled capt vacancies.
