that 2:30 has nothing to do with MPG, min calendar day and min average calendar day are all in reference to the actual pay for a trip. That min calendar day keeps them from loading all the flying into less days than the trip length and then forcing a day off layover in a city that results in no extra pay. I.e. fly 8 hours day 1 and 3 and layover day 2 and results in no extra pay. Now that 2:30 would kick in for that middle day as well
Pretty sure that's what the 5:15 is for.
