I am one of the “crybabies” that actually left NJs after being there for about a decade (including the five years I was furloughed). I realized once the 2015 contract came out that NJs would never compare to the majors, so I did something about it. I still think NJs was a fun job, but why would I settle for less pay and retirement for doing more work? It just depends on what your life goals are I guess. Now I’m a captain for Hawaiian Airlines with much better pay and QOL. To each his own…
