Good to air this kind of thing. I assumed most sponsors of this would be from districts with air service issues, but Nehls' district is a Houston suburb. Then you have to wonder about relationships with lobbyists of various special interests.
Although Nehls is on the Transportation committee, so it's possible that he's a sponsor simply because of the committee. If his brother is 60 and DAL top 500 today, he should have no problem whatsoever retiring in comfort at 65 regardless of how many ex-wives he might have.
