Sure. The question is are they simply going to throw a few more dollars per hour at the pilot group and say vote on it or are they going to go get the substantive improvements in QOL that they didn't get the first time...which this time includes one more day a month off, every month, for every reserve pilot. That's just shy of an extra two weeks of vacation time a year that United has, that American doesn't. If Isom thinks that's not going to be affecting the decision making of new hires, he's mistaken.

But perhaps American's management team is content scraping the bottom of that barrel as long as they will work more for less.
