As a relatively new 121 pilot, is there anything in Uniteds new AIP that protects against age 67 becoming a thing? I'd love to work here but since the new FAA authorization bill passed the house, I'd hate to get stuck there and not progress at all for 2 years. Can't the union just negotiate that all United aircraft have to be piloted by people under age 65? Pardon my ignorance on the subject.
UALs retirements for the next three years are minimal anyways, you won’t be held back very much. Initially.
