The 75-200 was so easy to land, on any runway, any day, (think LGA/DCA) even on a dark stormy night, in the snow with a cross wind, compared to the 727 or DC9! So I spent 6 years on the right seat, and later 6 years in the left seat, loving every minute of it!
OK, so I figured there’s never going to be a better airplane than this…..until I got a bid on the 777!
The 777 is a 757-200 on steroids! It’ll go anywhere, anytime, no matter the distance or loads, landing in a 40kt crosswind, in Narita after a 14hr leg. I was fortunate to have spent 14 years on the 777, never had the problems I have to deal with every trip on the A350….
So of course Eddie Bear parked them….idiot!
Agreed on both the 757 and 777, but more importantly thanks for bringing Eddie Bear back from the depths of discarded thoughts. Yet another thing I thought was a good joke until I was told it was real…..
