LoL this is a big issue. I’ve seen it more often than not in the 3yrs and less seniority range. The sheer look of astonishment that I see from those guys/gals as I control what I can and let the rest go is satisfying 😳.
They will eventually get it in time for the betterment of their medical long term.

So you expected ALL good with NO negative coming to UA (any other major really) ? Overblown and unrealistic expectations are the norm nowadays with absolutely no context.
I go in depth on the layover (with meal picked up by me) on why that wasted energy is futile and the crew and the pax are the priority of our effort.
