This is exactly right. In my almost 20 years of operating in EWR, nothing has changed. There has been a long list of managers come and go, big announcements of improvements to the operation, and failed attempts to “fix” EWR. There’s an old saying about making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear that applies. EWR will always be EWR. Expect a fiasco and then be pleasantly shocked when things actually run smoothly.
