I had an incident a few days ago where the CA decided to click off the a/t in gusty conditions, vref was around -10 kts at ‘50 feet, resulting in a near tail strike.

A choice between lose your job or lose your life. If there isn’t a very high probability of the latter just make sure your objections can be clearly heard on the CVR.
