Yes the chemistry is baked into us, that's why THC works in the first place. But we don't have a long genetically adapted history of injecting massive quantities into our system... we're still in test pilot mode, and the more they learn with legit science the less rosy it looks. My daughter is a social worker major finishing her internship at a major drug rehab/lockdown facility in PHX. The MJ kids are using now is in concentrated super doses—especially the wax dab things. Cases of MJ induced psychosis have skyrocketed and she is completely convinced that MJ in current use forms is very much an addictive and harmful substance, especially for teenagers.
Know what your kids are doing and intervene.
Stop comparing the “product” of the 1970’s with todays genetically modified super concentrates.
