Well you heard wrong. TSA took away the roasting sticks.
The passengers had to draw marshmallows, using nothing but crayons, and the crayons melted, leaving nothing but waxy jello full or bits of paper containing warning labels, something about cancer in California.
It was a pure stroke of luck that it all happened outside of California, else the entire passenger load could have developed cancer.
