What leverage did we possess in April/May?
Would our leverage have changed after such a vote? Stronger, Weaker, magically disappeared?
What would be the path forward after such a vote?
How would that path, and our negotiating strategy, differ from where we stand today?

p.s. Bonus question: Does a 57%-43% rejection of this TA from the membership at-large speak differently, or any more loudly, than an 8-6 rejection by our Block Reps?
I was hoping this thread would generate more discussion on the list of questions above. I think these questions are important because at some time in the future our next set of Block Reps will have another important vote to take. Will the next set of Block Reps build a better system, or follow a different process, to increase their clarity before voting on TA2.0?
Membership ratification is a necessary check valve on the Block Rep vote. Overall the system worked, but could the delay we will ALL now experience have been avoided? If so, specifically how?
