Lots of us enjoy life outside of aviation. I would rather retire at 65 than at 67. Age 67 will either force me to give up 2 years of my life to achieve the same seniority or forgo the seniority I would have had to still retire at 65. All so people can stroke their ego for another 2 years because they didn't develop any hobbies or plan for their retirement.
