All you newbie commuters...

It didn't take me long to:

1) Pack earplugs. Insert them as soon as the safety briefing is complete. If somebody talks to you before the briefing, you can interrupt them when the briefing begins (and then give them a dirty look for not listening in the first place).

2) Pack a lightweight sweater or sweatshirt near the top of your suitcase. As soon as you are done with the trip, it goes on over the uniform. The whole point is NOT to stick out like a crewmember. I've even seen guys go so far as to have liners sewn into their uniform jackets so they can turn them inside out. (Sport coat on one side, uniform on the other).

Of course if they still don't get the hint, you can always resort to this:
