M+ required a 69 slide deck of CQ for training, then required 6-9 weeks of fumbling around in the app for OJT, and then a FAQ put out by the EFB team listing best practices and work arounds (day/night).
OakNotes was made by a line pilot and was intuitive to use right out the gate....not distance learning, no FAQ, no work arounds....it was simple and it worked.
Yeahbut we can’t possibly have a real line pilot design our flight plans! Ed might have to PAY HIM!
Come on Man! All those dip sticks on the 4th floor need non-flying job too! Let a male FA design our iPad apps!
They know what we need!
Oh, and if you hate M+, you’re going to hate the A350 flight planning, which is basically the same crap!
