I'll bite. I was talking with another Dad at my son's ballgame last fall. He said 'I used to be a pilot'. We went on for awhile (used to fly for SW I think...all NW routes). He is now a Fireman with the City department. I asked him why he left aviation. He said 'could not pay the bills and feed my family'. He has been a fireman here in the local community for the last 8 years. First wife, two great kids, drives a Denali and has a 4-Broom house. Said that he 'misses flying' but is now a much happier man.
