8 months ago I had an email telling me to pick a class date as a DEC to Envoy. 100k check waiting. Almost twice the pay I was about to get a a CA at my airline. I almost jumped.

I'm glad I didn't. I would still be on reserve and only nearly a year i to a 6-7 year flow.

I start class at AA in a month. And I'm coming from a non-wholly owned AA regional. It is truly remarkable how the industry is working right now and the different hiring practices between ULCCs, Majors, and Legacies.
