PDX is for sure going, they already zero’d all the sales on the route in travelnet.

HNL-HND is selling pretty good. As of changing the airfares back to normal prices following the DOT decision to deny us relief to change these slots, they have already sold half of the airplane on most days. Delta was purposely raising the airfare to make people not buy them so we could hopefully swap HND slots with a different route. Once they told us we can’t delay the route anymore for Covid and can’t change the route, they put fares back to normal and shockingly (sarcasm) they started to sell. PDX route never moved back to normal fares though. In the beginning the routes from HNL aren’t sold super well but the return trips are.

Either way I believe I read before October we have to either announce intentions to fly it or lose it, which is why most recently they just removed PDX-HND all together. Not sure if they don’t see a demand in PDX anymore as we also cut ICN route as well.
