So why is southwest still so picky with thier applicants, when they can't afford to be picky anymore? Thier contract and flying isnt as good as the competition anymore, and honestly, they aren't that airline to be at anymore..

And they interview like that can afford to reject people. At Frontier and spirit it's just a hi who are you, 3 tmaat, and the most basic ifr questions. Southwest makes it seem like you are interviewing to become a Google CEO.

So with all these people quitting, or getting the type then bouncing... Or going to a legacy... They are still rejecting people in droves? Is the HR departments ego really that high
