That's exactly my situation. I don't know what it's like on the 400, but on the 757/767, I just call Brenda in OE scheduling, and she always hooks me up when I'm getting close to going uncurrent.
Forget about calling crew scheduling and getting any help. Been there, done that.....no help whatsoever. I have called them numerous times before begging for some lousy pairing to maintain currency. The answer usually goes: "sorry, but you're the only guy on B reserve, and we might need you for hot stby".
You have to be pro-active if you are a reserve guy and want to maintain your currency.
