With the new AMC rule that Mission Commanders have to be Majors or above, you'll enjoy a windfall of flying opportunities. At least, that's how it worked out for me.

I haven't heard about that. What does that exactly mean for lets say a Tanker Driver? I take it you can still upgrade to Aircraft Commander before O-4, but not Mission Commander? Forgive my ignorance, but what is the difference between an Aircraft Commander and a Mission Commander on the heavy side?
