No major airlines runs like you describe for pilots off probation.
While you can get yourself in trouble with dramatic absenteeism, the union contracts don’t allow significant penalties for typical absences.
my friend works at a WO that starts with a P and ends with a T in CLT lol. Idk if that how they also treat their flew crew because the way they treat the ground crew is horrible! He was saying that they fired someone because he had car trouble and he had the max amount of dependability point
