I interviewed on 08/10

Was offered a class date on 08/14. They offered 09/19 for a class date, but by the time I replied to the email, it was full! Accepted class date of 09/26.

My question is about when the job offer becomes a firm one, not a conditional one? I don't expect any issues with drug testing or background checks, but I was hoping to resign from my current job a little earlier to get some more time at home before I start the training. Would be nice to have the formal job offer in hand before I resign.

Anyone ahead in the process who can confirm whether there will be some kind of formal removal of the "conditional" bit before arriving in DEN?
