There will not be. Background checks are often not even fully completed until the 2nd week of Indoc, unfortunately, which is absurd to me. This is certainly an area that United has an opportunity to improve on.

Your most strategic move, IMO, would be to put your notice in at your current employer so it overlaps with Indoc at United, and drop or use sick calls to remove any trips that would otherwise interfere with your attendance. That doesn’t allow you any extra time at home, but it does protect you from being jobless.
