And it just so happens that CommuteAir has a $175,000 DEC bonus and Mesa has something similar. As somebody working for one of these regionals, the only captains left are diehard Aviate, Australian, or live in/around a United base and are unable to move/unwilling to commute. I really don't think that there would be a whole lot of loss on the CA side. Sure, a lot of FOs would leave, but they are a dime a dozen. United did this, again in a pilot shortage, to CommuteAir and ExpressJet only 3 years ago. I just don't see why they wouldn't try it again
no one is going to leave Mesa to go to Commute Fail. Lol. Starting pay for FO's there is $73 compared with $100 at Mesa, and $101 for captains compared with $150 for Mesa.

Captains at Commute Fail make the same as Mesa First Officers.
Top pay for captain at Commute Fail is year one pay for Mesa Captains.

Let that sink in.

If the rumors are true and they do a merger, I hope Commute Fail doesn't lower the pay standards for Mesa and start paying them peanuts.
