I don't hold a position in ALPA and I wasn't involved in any discussions about overmanning or furlough. In fact, I recently posted some skepticism about the extent of any overmanning and opined that a furlough is probably unlikely.

Now it's ALPA's job to tell pilots what's in the CBA and read it to them? Somehow you figured out there's a LOA option available and how to process the request. But apparently everyone else's contract reading comprehension isn't quite up to your level.
If our pilots are interested in a LOA, I feel pretty confident in their ability to read the CBA and start the process. If they end up with questions or difficulties, there are plenty of resources and people to help.

Um... Wut?
I really have no idea what you're trying to say here. "Expedient fixings"? I believe there was a statement made by the NC that the NMB was not going to be available until some time after Labor Day. That's a big target. I doubt anyone is going to be meeting ON Labor Day.
