Most have a wing leveler type of autopilot - which can be deferred - and GI275. Do everything you can to drill flying without a moving map, e.g. timeturnthrottletalk, as GPS can be deferred too! Your training will require it.
From my time, the GPS was never deferred as MX knows the destinations that the 99 goes into almost always relies on a RNAV approach.
