They volunteered to get paid to do it. It’s pretty obvious they were there to help with the transition not to police the pilots. I have never had a bad interaction with any LCA at frontier.
I have had 2 check airmen visit. First was a morning flight which is great. Second was I’m walking off plane and late for a victory lap swap. I basically said I don’t have time to chat. I have heard some pilots are calling the FAA safety line because of the lack of training .
