For the most part, you just show up, fly, go home. No emptying the lav, no coffee ice papers, no catering BS. You don’t have to take the job with you, but some people’s lives revolve around being a pilot. I flew 91 and 135 for 5 years before going 121 and while the flying is more mundane, the safety level is higher and stress level is much lower.
