If random comments on the internet are causing losses in court the union might want to consider new legal counsel
The point is that there is clear evidence that companies look at these forums. If you appear to be someone who is difficult to get along with or doesn't think that the job is important and you provide details that make you easily identifiable, then they could consider that when deciding whether to offer you an interview/job.
