Since the LCAs didn't have anything to do with the decision, helping the pilot group by learning the new software and answering questions/giving guidance on its use is helping the pilots, not management. As far as recruiting goes...would you prefer it be done solely by HR? Think you'd like to fly with the end product if it was only HR doing the hiring without pilot group involvement?
