Rickair, no I thought your post(the first to respond) was apt and set Tesla's ignorance straight WRT any parallel between the UAW and RLA and his politics Tesla was way off base. The 2-5 posts were funny, then it was like a blanket party and (maybe it's the woman trapped inside of my man's body), but I started to feel a little sorry for Tesla's knuckle-headed ideas( I probably should have also kicked him while he was down)
I never said, insinuated nor implied that UAL, AA, DAL were spineless. I was merely pointing out that the UAW are WAY more vested in a strike vote because it might actually happen(compared to RLA employee). That took guts and I was simply acknowledging it, not besmirching the pilots unions.
So, most of Tesla's post I scoff at, but also, I think 1 sentence had merit...."
Good to see workers with the fortitude to strike."
Even though a different industry and dynamic, the UAW strike it helps raise the bar(hopefully) on how far managements can push employees before they say , "Enough!". Hopefully, this is a calculated high speed train wreck that comes to a quick conclusion. If is protracted, there might be serious repercussion to the economy.
