Couple things
1. Seniority rules. Senior seat holders can bid turns and two days and favorable days off. Sometimes they go. Especially CA lines when lance CA wants to fill.
2. The market always changes. Sometimes (summer peak flying busy long days) trip trade give away nothing goes away. Other times when the flying is reduced and line totals are low people will take trips out of give-away. January, February etc. End of the month and the players are over the cap.
In short it just depends. Some months some years you can ditch your whole line. Other times you’re stuck with what you bid.
ELITT is trip trade. Again, it’s spotty. If you have a Thur-Sat line you won’t be able to move it left or right. Other days. Sun-Mon start days you can usually trade it off those days.
there was 6 turn lines in den FO bid packet. Out of Over 600 lines. Seniority means nothing for bidding at sw once you can get weekends off. You'll fly the exact same trips in the top 10% as those at 50%. And even then you'll just get rerouted.
Right now people are picking up trips below the rig instead of using TTGA . It's like TTGA doesnt exists.
