Might be better to look at United's Aviate program, at least that is a well structured, proven pathway program. D225 seems less refined to me.
Last I heard Aviate has yet to put someone all the way to United mainline. If that's still true, how doesn't make it "proven?" Seems to me the jury would still be out if that's the case.
