For a retiring military aviator who has the hours but spent their final couple of tours flying a desk, and just need to get current and maybe also get their ATP, they can complete a tailored program in just a few months and go straight into a NH class, and that's considered part of the D225 program. Unlike the basic cadet pathway which requires a year or two at a "partner" carrier to build hours.
